FAQs

Do you offer in person or virtual visits?

Yes, therapy is offered both in-person and virtual (for NJ residents only). I use a secure HIPAA platform (Simple Practice) to conduct video sessions which you can access on your computer or phone.

What is my approach?

I use an eclectic approach by incorporating traditional psychotherapeutic modalities – psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, acceptance and commitment, exposure and response prevention – with mindfulness-based practices.

What population do you serve?

Adolescents, young adults, athletes, parents (coaching) and Individuals and, anyone who wants to heal and grow. I have a lot of experience working with high school and college students but am open for adult individual sessions as well.

What types of issues do you specialize in?

Anxiety, OCD, school issues, sports performance, relationship issues, depression and parent coaching. I was also recently trained in an exciting evidence based program called SPACE, which stands for Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions. SPACE is a parent-based treatment program for children and adolescents struggling with anxiety and OCD developed by Dr. Eli Liebowitz at the Yale Child Study Center.

Do you take insurance/ Cost

A Full Life Counseling is not in-network with any insurance companies and does not bill directly. With PPO insurance plans, I am considered an out-of-network provider so you may be reimbursed in full or in part. I will provide you with a monthly superbill to give to your insurer.
